Our memories might forget Laida Magtalas but there's definitely no place in oblivion for the Sarah Geronimo-- the country's one and only "Popstar Princess." Sarah G's musical career began to take its full splendor after she emerged as the grand champion of Star for a Night, a singing competition produced by Viva Entertainment in 2003. She has recorded and released a total of thirteen albums-- eleven studio albums, a live album, and a compilation one. Few of her hit songs include "Forever's Not Enough", "Sa Iyo", "How Could You Say You Love Me", "I Still Believe in Loving You", "Very Special Love", and "You Changed My Life." The phenomenon known as Sarah Geronimo did not stop in the world of recording for she has also conquered the fiery floors of the concert stage. She was able to do five major solo concerts: The Other Side, Sarah Geronimo in Motion, The Next One, Record Breaker, and lastly 24/SG. Inevitably, for an amazing artist like her, the next level (local and international accolades), easily rushed in. The Aliw Awards had given her the "Best Female Major Concert" and "Entertainment of the Year" (in 2009) awards. Last December 2012, she won the Best Asian Artist Award (Philippines) at the Mnet Asian Music Awards. This 2013, the Popstar Royalty has bagged nominations for three categories in the prestigious World Music Awards-- Best Entertainer of the Year, Best Live Act, and Best Female Artist, respectively. Sarah G, an achiever who is as sweet as sugar and as calm as the morning breeze but can totally unleash her bolder and fiercer 2.0 version in The Voice of the Philippines.
