A reality singing search will only achieve its purpose if they find the most brilliant and talented people who are waiting for that perfect opportunity to call their attentions. In order to find these amazing talents, The Voice of the Philippines organized a series of large scale on-ground auditions which covered not just the entire archipelago but the United States of America as well. On-ground search kicked off last September 2012 in the state of California when a two-day open call auditions took place at Island Pacific Supermarket in Panorama City, Los Angeles (September 15) and California's Great America Parkway in Santa Clara (September 16). It should be noted that these auditions were exclusive for those with Filipino lineage. Auditions in key cities within the Philippines followed:
- February 23, 2013: Bacolod, Iloilo, Tacloban, Cebu
- March 2, 2013: General Santos, Zamboanga, Cagayan de Oro, Davao
- March 9, 2013: Palawan, Laoag, Naga, Legazpi, Baguio, Dagupan, Metro Manila
The public is reminded that auditions for the first season of The Voice of the Philippines were already closed.
