The scorching heat brought by the showdown of the artists from the different teams during the battle rounds will intensify as the fight for the title of "The Voice of the Philippines" goes up to the live shows stage. Broadcast live, this is the final phase of the competition where the battle rounds winners perform in front of the four coaches and a colossal audience. Usually sixteen survivors will compete on this round with each coach having four members on their team. The prime tasks of the artists are to deliver stunning performances, amaze the coaches and the audience, and win the public votes. At this point, the viewing public will play an important role in choosing the first four artists (one from each team) who will advance in the final eight. In the next procedure, the fate of the three remaining hopefuls will be decided. A heavy responsibility, each of the coaches will fearlessly choose one individual who will join the final eight circle. The final eight will again compete in a live broadcast in order to determine which member proceeds to the final four round. A different voting scheme is utilized at this level-- the four coaches will have a 50% share with the audience and the viewing public in deciding which artist moves on. One hopeful from each team will get a chance to enter the winner round that is solely decided by the vote of the public. The much awaited performances of the coaches together with their contending artists will be seen throughout the rigorous final process. At the end of the show, The Voice of the Philippines will finally be revealed. According to a number of press releases, Resorts World Manila's Newport Performing Arts Theater (NPAT) was chosen to house the live shows of The Voice of the Philippines which will be conducted on the month of August.
